The CAUDIT Awards recognise outstanding digital initiatives that transform education and research across Australasia.
Each year, the Awards highlight excellence and innovation across the Australasian tertiary education and eResearch sectors. They acknowledge, celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements of IT staff at CAUDIT member institutions who apply digital capabilities to positively transform the experience of students, academics and professional staff.

There are four categories in the CAUDIT Awards. Three categories recognise projects or initiatives and the teams responsible for delivering them. Submissions to these categories should focus on the project or initiative itself, the outcomes achieved, and the contribution of the team. Teams of one are permitted; however, responses must still emphasise the project or team outcomes rather than the individual.
The fourth category — Emerging Leader — is an individual award for those who display vision and have the motivation and desire to lead colleagues. Nominations for this category should focus on the achievements and leadership of the individual.

Enhancing the Student Experience
The CAUDIT Awards judging panel brings together respected leaders and practitioners from across the Australasian higher education and eResearch community. Each judge contributes deep expertise, sector insight, and a commitment to recognising excellence in digital innovation. We are grateful for their time, professionalism, and thoughtful assessment as they help identify and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our member institutions.
All Award recipients will be announced at the Awards Ceremony being held on 17 September 2026 at the CAUDIT Spring Members' Meeting in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We encourage Member Representatives to attend the event and celebrate the accomplishments of the nominees and finalists.
CAUDIT will fund the Emerging Leader category finalists' registration to the CAUDIT Spring Members' Meeting and CAUDIT Awards dinner (accommodation and air fares at Member cost).
Congratulations to the 2025 CAUDIT Award Recipients. Each recognised project demonstrated exceptional leadership, meaningful impact, and a strong commitment to advancing digital capability across the sector. The 2025 recipients stood out for their ability to turn complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions that benefit not only their institutions but the broader higher‑education and eResearch community. Their achievements continue to shape the direction of digital innovation across Australia and New Zealand.
Congratulations to the 2026 CAUDIT Award Finalists! We received over 46 entries from 20 member institutions this year, and the judging was incredibly close across the board. The finalists showcase a strong mix of innovation, practical impact, and collaboration—each one highlighting what’s possible when digital thinking meets sector-wide challenges. It’s great to see such high-calibre work driving progress in research, education, and operations.
