Andrew Tully

Andrew is the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) at Charles Darwin University (CDU), bringing over 30 years of diverse executive leadership. His career is notable for global impact, having served as the CEO of the first listed ISP in Southern Africa and holding international roles with Bytes Technology Group in the UK. In Australia, he has held senior leadership positions at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, Public Transport Victoria and was CIO with Federation University of Australia. A former Army Staff Officer, Andrew specialises in complex organisational transformations and strategic infrastructure. At CDU, he is currently leading a comprehensive digital transformation through a unified IT strategy while promoting a visionary "AI First University" model. He recently oversaw the first university-wide implementation of HaloITSM in Australia and has contributed to the Wattle Accords and sector-wide industry 'Statement' development, including the STARNet vision.
